Once an Upper East Side stavple best known for its intriguing “je na sais quo,as well as the only place to feast on their famously scrumptious Cajun Chicken, Le Bilboquet, which shuttered on New Year’s Eve 2012 after 27 years, reopened its doors in a bigger and better space on E 60th Street in Fall of 2013 and has been basking in “joie de vivre” ever since. The elite brand – owned by Philippe Delgrange, Ron Perelman, Steve Witkoff and Eric Clapton – has also become a global sensation, with Sao Paolo and Dallas outposts and most recently in Atlanta.   Executive Chef Julien Jouhannaud, a 10+ year alum of the Alain Ducasse empire, helms the kitchen, preparing simple, delicious French fare that blends some of Le Bilboquet’s signature dishes with newly inspired classics.
