As a young kid growing up in Florida to Cuban born parents, Adrianne Calvo wasn’t running home after school to kick around the soccer ball or check out the latest video game, she was running into the kitchen to help her mom put dinner on the table. This passion for food combined with an accidental scheduling mistake in high school that led her to a cooking class was the start of what would become a blossoming career as one of Miami’s hottest female chefs and the owner of nine-year-old Chef Adrianne’s Vineyard Restaurant and Wine Bar. A cookbook author four times over, Adrianne is known for her bold flavors and vibrant personality, as evident by her weekly appearances on NBC 6 in the Mix in Miami.
